Perez Hilton is messing with the wrong trainwreck!

Sony BMG’s Zomba Recording label, which owns the copyrights to Britney Spears’ recordings, is suing celebrity gossip blogger Perez Hilton for illegally obtaining and posting tracks from Britney’s upcoming album Blackout.
The copyright infringement lawsuit accuses Perez, aka Mario Lavandeira, of posting at least 10 completed tracks and unfinished demos from Britney’s new CD over the past three months.
“The unauthorized dissemination of recordings is a serious violation of copyright law”, said a Zomba spokesperson. “In addition, posting demos and unfinished songs as if they were final versions is grossly unfair to the artist and misleading to the public.”
The suit does not specify the amount of monetary damages, but asks for real and punitive damages as well as legal costs.
Everyone wants a piece of Perez these days! It seems that his whole boycott Britney thing has backfired.
Karma is definitely a bitch!
